Coming up this week... 

I can't believe we are so far through November already! The main responses I had from people were that Friday was better for the blogs, so Fridays it shall be. Here is what is coming up in the next week...

Cell Groups 
Next week Year 7, 8, 9, 10 + 11 cell will be doing a session on Porn and Year 12 and 13 cell will be doing a session on Equality.

Both will be pretty good discussions so come prepared!

All cells will be meeting as normal next week. Normal time, normal places. 




Friday Pathfinders (younger)
Today the first Younger Pathfinders session back after our free dog trip. We will be having a 'Girls vs. Boys' night, with loads of different challenges.


Next week (18th) we will be bringing back a brilliant session for a few years ago based around Takeshi's castle.  



Friday Pathfinders (older)
Today at Older Pathfinders we will be playing some classic kids party games, complete with kids party refreshments!! 

Next week (18th) we will be playing Takeshi's meets Ninja Warrior (no idea what that is yet, but I'll let you know when we have planned it!!) 

Sunday Pathfinders
There is no Sunday Pathfinders this week as it is Remembrance Sunday. Church also starts at 10am this week instead of 10.45.  


CYFA 
There is no CYFA this week.

No matter which group you are in, parents need to fill out one of these forms and make sure you get it to us as soon as possible.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. 2nd - 9th June

Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
