Coming up this week... 

Two more weeks before half term! Here is what you need to know this week...

Cell Celebration 
If you have never been to a Cell Celebration, you are missing a treat. It is basically an amazing, relaxed church service that is run by the members of our cells groups. They only happen once a term and this terms Cell Celebration is Sunday 5th February at 6pm, so come along if you can. 

 If you are in a cell please can you come for about 5, with everything you need to set up and prepare for what you are doing. Below is a quick reminder of which cells are doing what:

Year 7 Cell - Prayer stations 
Year 8 Cell - Prayer stations 
Year 9 Cell - Talk 
Year 10 Cell - Prayer stations
Year 11 Cell - video/drama/creative presentation 
Year 12 Cell - up front reflection activity  
Year 13 Cell -welcome, welcome game and refreshments

Cell Groups 
You will need to talk to your cell leaders to find out if your cell is on next week. Some will be taking a break after the Cell Celebration, but others will be meeting, possibly even having a social. 




Friday Pathfinders (younger)
Thank you to everyone who took part in our murder mystery! I don't know about everyone else, but I had a great night... This week we will be announcing the winners of the different competitions that were happening through the night. 


The theme tonight (3rd Feb) is 'Challenge Night'... if you can handle it! 

Next week (10th Feb) its Thirsty Meeples night, so come with your (board) game face on.

Friday Pathfinders (older)
Tonight (3rd Feb) we are having a Frisbee Night (sorry PC Paddy, we'll have another one, when you aren't working, I promise). It won't just be Killer Frisbee, but your frisbee game will need to be strong. 

I bought one of these specially for tonight. It was supposed to arrive on Wednesday . Hopefully it will come today. 

Next week (10th Feb) be Thirsty Meeples night, just like younger (shame not to when we have all those games around). It will be good to have as many games as we can, so please can everyone bring a few games to add to the mix? 


Sunday Pathfinders
Sunday Pathfinders is on this week and its being led by Lisa and Gemma. The theme this week (and for quite a bit actually) is who Jesus is. 

CYFA 
CYFA is ON this week. Its being led by the "dream team" that is Olly and Steve and we will be looking at 'fasting'.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course.
