St. Leonard's Youth Work Update

Coming up this week...  Apparently, this blog was read by 21 people in Russia last week, so to all our Russian friends,  spasibo! Here is what is happening in the coming week...  Cell Groups  Because it is the last week of term, most cell groups will be having a social, except for; Year 9 and Year 10 cell who are playing catch up and having a session on 'how to be a good friend'. All cells are at their normal times and normal places.    Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (31 st   March) is 'The Eggciting Eggstreme Easter Egg Evening'! Planned by our very own  Robert  Murrell! Because its nearly Easter, we will be playing lots Easter and egg related games. Some active and fun (planned by  Robert) and some just plain ridiculous and a bit gross (that Olly added in). Casual bit of first aid. Coming up this week...  Thank you to  everyone  who reads this blog and finds out what is going on (there are 100 of you apparently)! If you know someone who should, but doesn't, feel free to punch them or inform about what you have read in a loving and Christian manner, which ever floats your boat. Make sure you scroll all the way to the end of this weeks, as there are some special bonus photos for you and your family to 'enjoy'...   Cell Groups  Cell  groups are a little bit more mixed up than normal this week, so below is who is doing what:  Year 7 cell - we will be at the Ferrier's, like normal, looking at 'how we can be good friends' Year 8 cell -  we will be at Carolines, like normal, but we will be looking at 'Big Questions' this week, so come ready with any big questions you might have, the big the better. Year 9 cell -  lots of people in year 9 cell will be on a 'battle fields trip' but the rest of us are saying battle

Coming up this week...  N ow the Weekend Away has happened, we need something else to look forward to until next year. So, here is what is coming up in the next week... (in honour of a brilliant weekend, all the photos in this weeks blog are from the weekend away!) Cell Groups  All cell groups are back next week and will be  finishing  off the set of plans about families.  Year 7 cell -  last time we met, we talked about all having a meal together. We have decided to wait for this until after Easter, so we will be having a normal session like everyone else!  Year 11 cell -  because you guys missed out last week, you will be meeting today (17th) even though no other cells have met this week. You will be doing session 3 of the families plan.  Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (17th March) is 'Morris Night'! So wear clothes you can move about well in and feel free to come dressed as Morrisey as you can. Next week (24th March) its 'Emer

Coming up this week...  ONE MORE WEEK TILL THE WEEKEND AWAY!!!!! Here is what you need to know this week... Cell Groups  All cell groups will be carrying on our sessions about family next week (w/c 6th March).  The week after that there won't be any Cell Groups as we will be letting our poor exhausted leaders catch up on some much needed sleep!  The except to this rule is Year 11 Cell. Because you meet on a Friday, you will be having cell today (3rd), no cell next week (10th) but you will have cell the week after that (17th) when everyone else is resting. Clear? I think so...  Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (3rd March) is 'Wide Games' down at the field, so come dress in warm clothes that you don't mind getting muddy!!
