Coming up next week... 
Another week goes by, exams are coming to an end, but the youth work never stops. Here's what's coming up this week

Cell Groups 
Year 7 cell will be doing a second session on a God of Surprises. Year 8 cell will be starting the 2 week programme on sex and relationships whilst year 9 be doing the second half of the same session. Year 10 cell will be doing the youth alpha session which was supposed to be done this week, but none of them turned up! Year 11 will be having an end of exams celebration. Year 12 will be doing a session on God of Surprises and year 13 will be having a meal together as it could well be their last cell all together :(




Friday Pathfinders (younger)
This week (23 June) you guys will be continuing on the projects you started last week.
Next week (30 June) is wild animal night. So get practicing your best animal impressions for that week! 




Friday Pathfinders (older)
Tonight we will be having an old school games night with a barbecue to celebrate exams almost being over! Please all bring an extra £1 to go towards the cost of the food!
Next week is retro game show night. I am undecided which gameshows we will be recreating but I can assure you it will be fantastic.





Sunday Pathfinders
Sunday Pathfinders is on this week and will be led by Steven and Simon. We will be looking at prayer 


CYFA 
CYFA is not on this week unfortunately. You will just have to enjoy the service instead!

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course.
