Coming up next week... 
It's Friday. Another week is coming up and there is lots to take in. Why not take a moment out of your busy schedule to have a read and find out what is going on in the youth work this week...
Cell Groups 
Cell groups are all on at their usual times and their usual places next week. 

Year 7-11 Cell Groups will be following on from 'Who is Jesus?' with 'Why did Jesus die?' in their third instalment of youth Alpha.

Year 12-13 Cell Groups will be doing a session on Gender (for John's benefit, today, year 12 Cell are looking at the question 'is the bible sexist?', then gender next week. Be prepaaaaared (sung like the Disney song)  


Reminder: Year 10 Cell will be meeting on Wednesday next week at 8.15pm - 9.30pm.

Friday Pathfinders (younger)
Contrary to what the term card says: Tonight (10th November) there is NO FRIDAY PATHFINDERS :(. But don't worry, we will be back next week (17th) the another cracker of a session. 




Next week (17th November) will be board/computer games night. Do you love a good board game? Or a good retro computer game? Well then game up, because this is the night for you. If you don't know if you love either, why not turn up and give them a go?  
Friday Pathfinders (older)
Tonight (10th Nov) its the is NO OLDER FRIDAY PATHFINDERS! Sorry team, but you know what they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder, so I am expecting you all to be very fond of the session we do next week. 




Next week (17th November) is Classic Games, back by popular demand...

 Sunday Pathfinders
There is no Sunday Pathfinders this week as its our Remembrance service! 

CYFA 
There is no CFYFA this week, because its remembrance. But, CYFA are on coffee this week so make sure you seek out Jenny to find out how its all going to work and stick around at the end of the service to dish out that delicious brew. 

Soul Survivor 
On Saturday 4th November some of our Soul Survivor crew did their first bit of Soul Survivor fund raising. It seems like ages away until we go to Soul Survivor, but trust me, it creeps up on you. Keep your eyes peeled for the first Soul Survivor meeting of this year (dates to be announced later this month).

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course.
