Coming up next week... 
Well, its the first week since half term and it all seems to have gone pretty well so far. Nothing has burst into flames yet as I am aware. Hold on to your hats, because this week, everything starts back (even Sunday Pathfinders and CYFA). It's going to be a rip-roaring roller coster of youth-workey goodness... 
Cell Groups 
Cell groups are all on at their usual times and their usual places. 

Year 7-11 Cell Groups will be doing their second session of 'Youth Alpha'.

Year 12-13 Cell Groups will be trying to answer the question "is the Bible sexist?"




Reminder: Year 10 Cell will be meeting on Thursday this week at 7.15pm - 8.30pm.

Friday Pathfinders (younger)
Tonight (3rd November) its Canadian Night! Canada is an amazing country and given that one of our very own leaders is from there we thought we better have night dedicated to the place. We've got a one of a kind, never seen before quiz and pancakes and maple syrup galore! Can you tell the difference between a Canadian and an American? Find out this week...

Next week (10th November) there is no Friday Pathfinders :(. But don't worry, we will be back the week after.
Friday Pathfinders (older)
Tonight (3rd Nov) its R-R-R-R-R-RRRRRAGE CAGE night! Don't worry it won't all be angry containment devices running around, but it should all be pretty fun! 


Being as how we didn't have a session last week, there were no pictures, so here's a lovely one of Robot Wars night from last year #FocusretrospectivelyFriday

Next week (10th November) there is no Older Friday Pathfinders, because Olly is swanning off on some so called Youth Workers training weekend. 

Sunday Pathfinders/CYFA 
Sunday Pathfinders is back after what seems ages. It should be a good one too. It's being led by Lisa and Graham and is all about remembering and faith. 

CYFA 
CYFA is back too, after what seems like an even longer break! Its going to be all about the Bible (shocking I know) and will be lead by Olly and Steve. 


Youth Weekend Away 
If you want to download your weekend away consent form from this blog, then this week is your last chance as this notice is coming off next week. After that you will have to go through the ordeal of actually asking for an old fashioned printed version like some sort of cave person.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. 2nd - 9th June

Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
