Coming up next week... 
Firstly, sorry for how late in the day this blog is coming! This Friday has sort of crept away from me. Look below to see information about next weeks Cell Groups, Sunday Pathfinders, CYFA and Friday Pathfinders, lunch with the Bishop. Pretty standard really but all worth a read. Also, year 8 cell, take note of the note below...
Cell Groups 
Next week we are having a bring a friend and talk tricky questions session at every cell group. The format will to invite any friends that cell members have who might be interested in talking through tricky life/faith questions in a conversational kind of a way. The format will not be that the leaders and usual members of cell have all the answers (shock horror!), more that we will talk things through together and share thoughts and musings. 



Reminder: Year 10 Cell will be meeting on Thursday (18th) next week at 7.15pm - 8.30pm.

 Note from year 8 cell leaders:
"Year 8 cell group will not be holding ‘invite a friend’ this coming week (Thursday 18th January), but will do it instead on the following week - Thursday 25th January.  If you want, please invite a friend for Thursday 25thJanuary.  Do let others in the group know.  Thanks." 


Friday Pathfinders (Younger)
This week (12th Jan) we are having a 'Team Games' night. "What's a team games night?" I hear you cry, "come and find out" I enthusiastically respond.



Next week (19th Jan) will be 'Super Hero night'. You don't have to dress up, but you may get bonus points if you come in a particularly great costume! 

Friday Pathfinders (Older)

This week (5th Jan) it's PLANNING NIGHT. Time to separate the wheat from the chaff, the good plans from the bad ones and the nights of epic proportions from the ones that budget and time restraints allow... 


The theme for next week (12th Jan) is up for grabs, so make sure you come along this week and do some grabbing.

Sunday Pathfinders
This Sunday (14th Jan) Sunday Pathfinders is back. It is all about sharing the gospel and is being lead by Simon and our new and exclusive leader Ruth!

CYFA
There is no CYFA this week, but there is an amazing thanks giving... plus a bring and share lunch after the service so all in all, not bad.

Bishop's youth forum
Anyone who has been in cell this week should have been given a consent form about a Youth Forum we are going to that is being run by the Bishop of Oxford. It sounds like it will be a brilliant event, so if you want to come but haven't had a consent form you can download one below.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course.
